Pattaya, Thailand June 2007

Went off to Pattaya, Thailand last week to attend David Cavanagh's 3 days Internet Workshop at the Leelawadee Lagoon Resort. All up there were 62 attendees from Australia, UK, USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangkok and Indonesia. The youngest being 15 years old and the oldest was Ivor who is 73 years old. My head was spinning with lots of ideas and proposals for more ways to make money on the net. Internet business and marketing is the way of the future now. Just spending the 3 days with David and the other presenters on how they got started and also with networking with the other graduates, the future prospects are endless. Proposal of joint ventures with others maybe on the pipeline too.

The whole process was taught step by step and easy to follow methodology and this has definitely broken down any myths about the whole Internet Business and Marketing being only for the experts and professionals. Given the right education and tools, anyone can succeed. Right on!!!!! Met up with David's lovely family as well.

It wasn't just all work and no play, which would make Alice a very dull person indeed!!!!!. Had a free morning beginning of the workshop and Marie-Lise and I head off to the Elephant Village to do a trek.

The Elephants are magnificent animals, so gentle and so graceful. We spent about an hour on the elephant trek going thru the stream and treking along the jungle path. With the gentle breeze blowing and the serenity of peace and being with nature, there is nowhere I rather be but here.

We then went for a 15 minutes walk thru the jungle trek and there were 3 friendly gibbons by the name of Patrick, Tony and Koko and they love clumbling on the tourists. Marie-Lise has Patrick (black) on top of her shoulder and Koko is firmly attached to her left leg. Hahahaha!!!!!!!! They are so cute and also very naughty as they like snatching caps, sunglasses and cigarettes. One of the American tourist gave Patrick a bottle of "Red Bull" drink. Boy he was already a hypo gibbon, we didn't stay long enough to see the effects after. I don't think that was a very good move on his part. Hmmm!!!!! Then we went on the oxen cart ride back to the Village for lunch. Then we had to rush back to the resort for the start of the Workshop. Talk about cutting things too fine. We made it though with 5 mins spare. David is very strict on starting time. The next 3 days were full on at the workshop. We had an extra day spare in Pattaya to visit the Tiger Zoo.

Feeding the tiger cub was an experience. He was so cuddly and very hungry as well. Holding him reminds me of my three babies back home. Missing them lots and can't wait to get back home to cuddle them all.

Here I am being brave with the Scorpion Queen and her subjects. I have two scorpions on my top and one on the inner right arm. Mind you I was standing pretty still and there were no sudden movement on my part!!!. Not too sure if I am brave or just plain silly. But it was fun anyway.

Then the last night at Pattaya, we went to see the Transvestite Alcazar Cabaret. The production was excellent and very classy. The "girls" were so beautiful and so sexy.
