Antarctica

After the South America trip in Feburary, Madventure presented the next adventure to Antarctica in 2008. I put up my hand to go...even though I really do not like the cold at all but what an opportunity to be at the bottom of the world. I then went to a Money Master 2007 seminar in April and there was another adventure group going in December 2007 - wow having Christmas in Antarctica. So I brought forward my plan to two months earlier to go to Antarctica.


Unfortunately after working out the costs and also the time factor, it just was getting too expensive during the festive and high season on flights and accommodation. And also it would been too hectic and rush for me because it would only be only 3 weeks after my trip back from India. So I am now back with Madventure. Maybe it was just meant to be. So instead of having a white Christmas in Antarctica in 2007, I will have a white Valentine's Day in Antarctica in 2008. Geez, two years in a roll having Valentine's Day in exotic places - 2007 on Sun Island in Lake Titicaca and 2008 Crossing the Drake Passage in Antarctica.

Brrr..... it will be an experience of a lifetime. The journey will be for 11 days and then it is off to Easter Island to thaw out and get some sun and work out on tanning ourselves. It will be awesome to see the mystical head sculptors on the island and then off to lovely exotic Tahiti. Hopefully I get to have some romance!!!!!!
