Feb 20th 2007 - Rio De Janiero, Brazil

Today is most definitely a day of rest and sleep catch up. All the excitement from the last couple of days have finally caught up with me. Slept almost all day and felt rejenuvated again by nightfall.

Caught up with Clive, Ali and Mary Ellen and off we go to find the Gay Parade that was suppose to be held in Ipenema. We caught the local bus and somewhat gotten lost and ended up on the beach for a beach party and then started wondering off again til we found a pub with a pool table. Tried out the local spirits, Campriinha, a limey brazilian alcoholic drink. Talk about drinking rocket fuel...PHEW!!!! first couple of mouthfull is potent and then it goes down smoothly.

Played pool for hours and then caught the local bus back to Copacabana beach for more beach partying with the locals. This is Mary Ellen's last nite in Rio and boy did we party hard!!!
