Today is Chinese New Year!!!! "It is the year of the Golden Pig!!!!!

Surprised was in stored for the 3 of us that missed out on the Parade last night. Because of the stuffed up by the school, the 3 of us are now given permission to parade with the professionals tonight!!!!!! Wow, the universe does work in a strange and mysterious way.

The parade was AWESOME!!!!! and EXHILLIRATING!!!! Getting the chance to dance away in front of a crowd of 85000 spectators. The feeling is so SURREAL. I still can't believe that I am really here in RIO, let alone dancing like a fruitloop in the Sambadrome participating in the 2007 Carnival. This will be a memory that I will cherish and it will be a very interesting topic to tell my children and grandchildren to come.

After the exhausting parade, I went up to the grandstand to catch up with the other Madventurers. What a cheer from them and the other tourists when we got up on the grandstand. Tourists started taking photos of me and Jason as we still have our costumes on and some even asked to posed with me. Off course I posed like a true proffessional. Talk about being the star for the night. Bring it full on!!!!! The Carnival goes on for 4 nites with 7 schools participating per night and each school have at least 7 floats and thousand and thousand of dancers with spectacular costumes.

I was on a such a high that night and it took me ages to wind down afterwards.
