Moonbaki @ Kenwick Library

Another performance by the Moonbaki Multicultural Choral Group at the Kenwick Library at Kenwick. Much more an intimate affair with quite a few audiences. Fun and laughters were had by all and the audience were very interactive and even sing along with us especially the kids.

The children are so lovely and gorgeous. Here is a picture of Ray, our nominated stage manager of the group with a gorgeous baby. Isn't she cute!!!!

The one thing I learned from this group other than just singing lessons, fun and joy, is the community spirit that each and everyone of us have within and the giving nature. And to see the joy and happiness on the audience faces is worthwhile. We need to get back to the basic society and to regain more community spirit and networking and looking out for each other.

Cashflow on Ice

We had our first meeting with Peter Bland in preparation for the Antarctica adventure in December. The Perth group met up with him at the Burswood Dome for an informal dicusssion on fitness, itinerary, clothes and activities we will be doing in Sth America as well as in Antarctica and on the russian icebreaker, the Aleksey Maryshev.
It was good to meet the other adventurers as well and to get to know them as we will be emailing one another to sort out the flights, stuffs and to bounce ideas off each other.

The youngest of the group is Brendan who is 10 years old. Wow,what an experience he will have and to tell all his friends of his adventures.
Here's me being silly as Marie-Lise shoved the camera in front of my face.
Peter Bland with a clamp-on in his hand and me with the ice pick. Move over Sharon Stone (from Basic Instinct) there's a new kid in town!!!! Hahahahaha Marie-Lise (my partner-in-crime) with Peter.

Moonbaki @ The Knowledge Centre

We had a Moonbaki Choral Group Performance at the Gosnell's Knowledge Centre in the Orange Room with the Lord Mayor of Gosnell, Pat Morris as our honour guest. As you can see from the photos, everyone had lots of fun. The Mayor was so impressed that she has asked us to perform for the next citizenship ceremony in the future as the main entertainment. WOW......Emma is beaming from ear to ear!!!!.

Her dream is for us to perform in front of the Parliment House. And I say why not dream big?....why not the Opera House in front of John Howard??? We will just wait and see........if you want to dream why indeed not DREAM BIG!!!!!!!
We are a multicultural group from all parts of the globe originally. Brunei (that me!!), Phillippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Burma, Ireland, England etc. We now call AUSTRALIA our home and we are proud to be AUSTRALIANS !!!!!!

Kimonos

I was down at Subiaco today and happen to drop into a shop called "Japon" which specialized in Japanese themes. They were having a sale with kimonos and I got myself 4 pairs just for fun. Each only cost me $9.95. Most definitely worth it.

I will most definitely wear one of these for a fancy dress party in the future. I might even bring them along for a performance with the Choral Group when we learn more Japanese songs.
COOL!!!!!! My favourite is the white and blue number.

Fremantle Torchlight Prison Tour

On Friday nite I went along with Rosemary, Jake and Kim to visit Rosemary's daughter, Alicia who is a tour guide at the Fremantle Prison. The prison has been decommissioned since 1991 and have been a historical site ever since. This tour is the torchlight tour and it is meant to be very eerie!!!!!

This is the front enterance to the prison. Looks scary doesn't it.

This is the capel in the prison ground. This the only building that has no bars in the windows. To gain visitation rights to the capel, the prisoners have to be on their best behaviour.

This is one of the restored prison division that housed the inmates. Extensive restoration have been done to retain its former glory. Part of the enterance ticket goes to the restoration funds. The prison is pretty eerie and also Alicia the tour guide keeps telling us about hauntings and spirits and what people has seen throughout the ages.

There were quite big group of teenagers with us and most of the time, the girls were screaming when we heard bumping and thumping sound coming from the prison doors and walls. Most places we went to was dark so we had to shine torches to see where we were going. I really enjoyed it. One part of the prison there were wiring netting to stop the prisoners from hurling themselves from the top level to the concrete ground. Whilst we were there, a dummy was flunged from above and landed on the netting. Boy did the girls "pissed" themselves. I thought I nearly went deaf with their screams. What a laugh.

I called the dummy "Sven" the prisoner!!! I even shined the torch on the floor where the girls were standing in case they did literally 'pissed' themselves. Hahahahah, what chickens!!!!!

This is one of the paintings that the prisoners painted on the walls of the prison to make the place a little bit more cheery. Hmmm.....

This is one of the many prison door to the cells in the division. It really creaks when you open it. And the cell is small. It makes you think twice about commiting a crime. It is just not worth it!!!

Overall I really enjoyed the tour. It wasn't scary enough for me but I think the other girls thought so otherwise. Ah well....

Unique Individual

I have indeed come a long way. My journey has been filled with lots of experiences of heartache, joy, tears, exhilaration, love, happiness, disppointment and sorrows. The last couple of years has been a real self realisation of my whole reason on being in this universal. Lots of soul searching and meditation and trying to understand the whole of reason of being and who I am.

I can now say, that it is all worth it. I am a much better and happier person. I know who I am and I know what I want. I will let the law of attraction match my positive vibrations and I am now waiting to receive everything that I allow into my life.

I dedicate this video clip to the most admired and unique individual that I know and I applaud her. GO GIRL!!!!!

Creativity

I have been waiting to get in touch with my creativity side to paint for a while. Yesterday I was at the art/craft store and bought some canvases and acrylic paints and paint brushes. That's it!!! No more procrastination. Today I got motivated and painted two canvases.

This one is called "Flow of creation" (Not a bad name eh!?)

This second painting, I named it "Karmic circles" (it does have a bit of a aboriginal feel to it doesn't it?)

Well it wasn't a bad effort, if I can say so myself. All up both paintings took me an hour of creative inspiration. Watch this space for more exhibitions to come!!!!!

The Law of Attraction

The definition of "Law of Attraction" is: -

I attract to my life and my business whatever I give my attention and energy and focus to whether negative or positive.

This is all about vibes which is a mood or feeling. Our internal 'vibrational meter reader" within us gives out either negative vibes or positives vibes. And realising that the only purpose the universal law of attraction is to match these vibration and gives us what we ask for. So if we choose to give out negative vibes, then the law of attraction will match these thoughts. So knowing this fact, why choose negative vibrations at all. Think and emulate positive vibrations and let then let the law of attraction goes about its way to match it for us.

Rather than use the words "Don't", "Not" and "No" in your vocabulary, eliminate and reduce using these words and replace with "So what do I want?"

When I go from what I don't want to what I do want, the words change. And when the words change, the vibration changes. So rather than complain and wallow, ask yourself "How do you want it to be?" and Raise your vibrational scale.

"What do you want" and what will your response be? So watch what you say and watch what you do.

The formulae for deliberate attraction are:-

Step1: Identify my desires

Step2: Raise my vibration and give my desires plently of attention.

Step3: Allow it.

The speed at which the law of attraction will manifest my desire is directly proportional to how much I am allowing it.

So the conclusion is that it is the negative vibration of my doubts that is diluting the positive vibration of my desires. The secret to "allowing" is to remove "all doubts"

My favourite saying is " I will do what others don't, to have a tomorrow that others won't" I will let the law of attraction do it job and I will allow all positive vibrations to only radiate from within me. I will dispel all negative words and doubts. I have given myself permission to receive.

Nothing and noone is going to stop me from turning my dreams into reality.

Bonding Time

Spent a pretty slack weekend bonding with the kids. We are all just chilling out and enjoying each other company. Though I wished Zack could stop farting all day long!!!!!!! I still can't trained him to leave the room before he lets a ripper out!!!!! Hmmm.......but I still love him dearly!!!!! All three competes sometime to get my total attention but I am an equal mum...devotion divided equally into 3 parcels, no more, no less. That's the way it should be.

Turning Dreams into Reality

I felt that the trip to South America was a huge turning point in my life. Having made the journey to Manchu Picchu which has been a long childhood dream of mine finally into reality has made me realise that I can make all my dreams from now on into reality. It was such a magical place to be and being there was something I have dreamt from a very very long time. I used to think that this is only going to be a dream and yet having done the long journey to see and experience the magical ruins, I have left the place with a stronger determination and the will power get whatever I desire. And the only thing that could stop me to achieve my dreams is ME. And realising that, the journey now is more purposeful and free flowing.

The answer to everything is:

MASSIVE ACTION = RESULTS
RESULTS = PURPOSE + FULLFILLMENT

My next trip will be a spiritual one to Rajasthan in Northern India. This trip is with a group of belly dancers from Sydney and I am looking forward to this "Celebration of Womanhood" with them.

And the next big trip will be Antartica for Christmas. BRRR....just thinking of it is giving me the shivers, from excitement and off course braving the cold!!!!! This will definitely be a test for endurance and leadership skills and to have the chance to experience being at the bottom of the world.

A friend once told me "to take more risk in life" and I now realise what it all meant. I thank him for it from the bottom of my heart.

Rottweilier Club

I am baby sitting my neighbour's two rottis. Together with my two rottis and Sabre (australian cattle dog - stumpy tailed), the backyard is like a dogs play-pen. I pity any person that would jump the fence to get into my yard!!!!!

From left to right: Maya, Zack, Suwerte, Sabre and Sumo.
Thats the four of them guzzling from the water trough!!!! You can just see Suwerte with her long wagging tail on the left. Being the youngest, she is the only rotti with her tail intact. All the rest are older and have short stumpy tails before the anti-docking laws came in a few years back.

This is Sumo. He is the oldest of the pack and weighs over 70kgs!!!!! He will be 8 years old this year. Very handsome and very well mannered and surprisingly very gentle. He loves kids.

This is Suwerte (meaning lucky in Filipina). Best friend of Sabre (see below). Both of them are the babies of the pack and can be very destructive at times. But we still love them.

Easter Monday Kayak

Easter Monday was a beautiful, calm day for kayaking. I went down to Point Walters in Bicton and caught up with Rosemary and Bev for a morning kayak. It was nice and relaxing and a great workout as well. There were quite a few other fellow kayakers in the water.

There were a few swans hanging around and sunning themselves on the banks.

Carpe Diem - Sieze the Day

The Path is clearly shown. I have seen glimpses of the future. The lightness, happiness, joyness and freedom and to have the ability to do good to others so that we can enjoy what the universal law intended. Applied Knowledge is POWER!!!

Power to determine my own destiny.
Power to have the life that I want for me.
Power to have the ability to write the script of my life.
Power to have the determination and strength to move forth.
Power to achieve and be FREE.
