Day 1 Perth-Singapore-Delhi 2nd Nov 07

Left Perth and met up with Debbie who is also from Perth. Both of us enjoyed a couple of Singapore Slings on the Singapore Airline flights. Gotten really merry and celebrating the start of our exotic trip to India. We were in transit at the Changi Airport for 5 hours and had a wonderful time exploring the orchid gardens and off course the duty free shops.Found this lovely 'peacock' flower arrangement and had to have my photo taken. Finally caught up with the rest of the Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland group in the tour. And of course Leanne!!!!! I can't believe that it has been nearly 14 months ago when she first told me about this trip and finally we are all here!!!!!

More Singapore Slings on the Delhi leg of the flight!!!!!! It was a pretty solid day of travelling and feeling quite exhausted when we landed in Delhi.

Feeling excited and tired at the same time. Each of us were adorned with beautiful and fragrant marigold garlands lei from our Indian tour representative.

There are 21 of us in our group. 2 sets of sisters, 2 sets of husband and wives, 2 sets of mothers and daughters and many sets of friends.

I dare say we will all have time to get to know one another in the days to follow and see what every is seeking from this spiritual trip of India.
