The White Planet was having an Advance Screening last Sunday which was Father's Day. Since I am going to Antarctica next year, I thought I better at least go and see this film. Was not dissapointed at all!!!!!. Beautiful cinemagraphy and beautiful shots of scenaries and gorgeous animals from polar bears down to microscopic palnktons. It must have taken years and lots of patience to get this film done. The soundtrack to it was so haunting...Inuit chanting and angelic voices and musics. I am now frantically searching to get a copy of the soundtrack. This is definitely a MUST SEE!!!!!

Another film I saw was "The Home Song Stories" an indepth view thru the eyes of a boy on his journey from Shanghai to Australia with his sister and his mother. The film is mostly on his relationship with his mother and her erratic behaviours and their accceptance and their transition into the Australia society and culture.
