Moonson Rain & Icicle Drops
Another book "Moonson Rain & Icicle Drops" by Libby Southwell is a very inspiring true story about her journey and her spiritual growth.
Plunged into numbing grief after the death of her fiance and her close friends, she began to search the world for an end to her sorrows. Each and every places in the world that she travels, helps her to heal little by little.
And finally she found peace and happiness in her new home, Sri Lanka.
When the 2004 Tsunami hit there, she and friends started setting up charities to help rebuild Sri Lanka. She has donated proceeds from this book to further her work in rebuilding Sri Lanka and helping her people.
With the Karma Sutra under my arm
I just finished reading this book "With the Karma Sutra under my arm" by Trisha Bernard. It is a very hilarious outlook on her and a friend's trip through India, visiting all the palaces and places of interest and most of all the culture and the people.
It's quite a coincidence as the places she wrote about her travels are exactly the places I will be visiting with a group of belly dancers from Sydney to Rajasthan in November 2007 to celebrate the Festival of Lights.
The book acts as a prelude insight for my trip and I am so looking forward to this and the wonderful company of the belly dancers from Sydney.

Wholeness
This is true for everyone and every living thing in this world and there are no exceptions.
So in the meantime make your life journey purposeful and meaningful as in this lifetime, you are meant to live and learn and experience the joy of LIFE.
And it will be a shame and a waste if you choose not for your present journey to be purposeful and fulfilling and to have the sense of WHOLENESS present within you.
Allow the Universe to fills you with joy and abundance.
And allow yourself the enthusiam to receive them with open arms and open minds.

Beautiful Sunsets in the North West Shelf
I took these shots at the end of the days whilst I was on the rig in the North West Shelf. The location of this rig was about 45 minutes helicopter ride off Karratha. Being so isolated from everything, I am in total awed of Mother Nature and the universe. The tranquil waters and the beautiful sunsets and sunrises and the sounds of silence makes me feel so alive and at peace.
Healthy Belonging
Letting Go
To let go does not mean to stop caring, it means that I can't do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off, it's the realisation I can't control another.
To let go is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To let go is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To let go is not to try to change or blame another, it's to make the most of myself.
To let go is not to care for, but care about.
To let go is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To let go is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.
To let go is not to be protective, its's to permit another to face reality.
To let go is not to deny, but to accept.
To let go is not to nag, scolds or argue, but instead to search out my shortcomings and correct them.
To let go is not to criticise and regulate anybody, but to try to become what I dream I can be.
To let go is not to regret the past, but to grow now and live for the future.
To let go is to fear less and love more

Bamboo (Bambusa)
Lying in my Brazilian hammock, with my eyes closed. Listening to the gentle russling of the bamboo leaves and the soft chiming of the windchimes. Surrounded by my three beautiful dogs on either side of the hammock and the garden is abundant with birds flying around and chirping and the water trickling from the Shiva Head fountain. I am at peace with Mother Earth and Heavenly Father. There is no other place I wish to be but here and now.

Inspirational
I met up with Tony Christiansen at the Gold Coast Seminar in Sept. Boy is this man inspirational!!!!!!!! He has done more being legless than any man with two functioning legs!!!! What a admirable person he is. He lost his legs when he was 7 years old in an accident. He has never let this be his disability. Of his life achievements, he has accomplished medals in the Para Olympic, fly planes, painter by trade, go karting championship, side car racing, speedway racing, black belt in Tae Kwon Do, life surfer rescue, wheelchair basketball, white water rafting, a loving father of three, grandfather and loving husband and he just climbed the highest mountain in Africa, the Kilimanjaro, and still he keeps powering on and on. Most of all he has got a sense of humour!!!!!! He is just a lovable rogue. and you just want to keep hugging him!!!!!
Being a mischievous person, I ask if I could get a photo with him, with me sitting on his lap on the wheelchair!!! Boy did everyone looked on with horror when I said that. Tony just grinned and said what lap???? Told you he was lovable. Not only did I get to sit on the wheelchair with Tony, he also autographed his two books for me. Check out his books "Race you to the Top" his incredible life story and "Attitude Plus" his secrets of success. Both are excellent readings. Having the opportunity to have met Tony and seeing for myself his achievements and his success and not letting anything gets in his way even without LEGS!!! and also withstanding the discrimination of people perception of his 'disabilities'. His sheer determination to follow his passion, makes me even more inspire and determine to achieve mine.

Kayak Season
Rosemary just gotten her otter kayak from the shop and here she is posing with all her assessories before we got into the Canning River. Notice that she has her life vest on. Good girl!!!. Whilst with me, I am just sooooo casual...... with my Gizmo siton kayak. Now that the weather is glorious, we can't wait for the Sunset/Moonlight Kayak to start up again. This is a group of kayakers meandering the river ways of Perth for a casual group paddle during full moon......hmmmmmm strange things may happen, especially with Terry (the group leader) around. As our motto goes "Have Kayak, Will Paddle"

Kwan Yin
Kwan Yin is the Chinese Goddess of Mercy, Love and
Compassion.
Sofan quoted:
This painting will help create wonderful feeings of calmness,
and compassion wherever she is placed.
With her compassionate gaze,
this merciful goddess
holds the world with love.
Majority of Sofan's prints are placed on the mantle of the fireplace in the living room. As you walked into the house, you will get the first glimpse of these prints. Everyone always comments on them.
Live your Dream
Here is another one of Sofan Chan's gorgeous artwork.
Quoting from her again:
Is life just a sleep amongst a bed of fragrant flowers?
Are you dreaming your life or living your dreams?
Dreaming is a special time when all things are possible.
With its vibrantly flowing colours and tranquil lines this
painting will remind you of the unique power of your dreams.

Mind Garden
I have been collecting art prints by Sofan Chan. She is an artist residing in Sydney. I came across her works when she and her husband had a stand at the Conscious Living Expo 2003. Since then I have been acquring her artworks from time to time. This is called "Mind Garden" and I would like to share the poem with you written by Sofan herself.
Your mind is a garden,
Your thoughts are the seeds.
You can grow flowers,
Or you can grow weeds.
Turn you mind into a garden where you can plant seeds that turn into laughter, joy, love and happiness
The Gang
Here we all are in our finest!!!!! Irene is on the left and thats me, the gorgeous cutey on the right. The girls are science major in chemistry and geology. The boys are computer geeks. Patrick, on the left and Kevin on the right. Both are in Information Technology. I am the oldest of the four and yet I am the shortest one in the family. Hmmm......genetic can be a problem!!!!
Mum & Dad
This is my mum and dad. This was taken when my youngest brother, Kevin graduated and the whole clan had to go and take graduation photos. All the kids have to be decked up with their graduation gowns and mortar boards. This is mum's lifetime dream to see all her kids have a good education. Both came from a poor family and could not afford to go on to further studies. Their dreams was to made sure that their kids go on to universities and get a good career. Suffice to say, all four of us graduated from Curtin University. For laughs we put the mortar boards on their head so they can experience the feeling as well. Without them and their encouragement and support, we won't be here today.

Break Free
The board breaking exercise at the 21st century academy was awesome!!! Broundaries and restrictions we boxed ourselves is literally 'broken free" when each of us smashed thru our board. The feeling was so euphoric as you can see on Leanne's, mine and Angela's faces. We are grining ear to ear. GO GIRL POWER!!!!
We are born Champions!!!
I met up with champion marathon swimmer, Shelly Taylor-Smith at the Gold Coast Sept 2006. She was one of the speakers for the 21st century academy. Her life story is so inspiring. She so generously let me and Leanne put on her gold medals to get the feeling of being CHAMPIONS!!!! Her ongoing motto is "If we don't give up, we will make it" and "have a sensational day"
Peace with Goddess of Mercy
This picture was taken when I doing a spirtuality workshop up in the hills in Perth. I was wondering thru the lush gardens and I came across this statue. The serene face was beckoning me and I just wanted my picture taken with her. This is one of my favourite photo. Everyone seems to comment that I looked so at peace.
