It was joy to see Jasmyn's with her Elmo on Christmas Day. The three generations of Grandmother, Godgrandmother, Mother and Godmother together with gorgeous Jasmyn's are memories to be cherish forever.

Lazy Saturday Afternoon

Today I managed to get free lazy time to bond with the kids and just chill and contemplate about life. Armed with my ipod with "The Power of Now' audiobook by Eckhart Tolle and lying on the rug in the back garden, listening to the soothing voice of Eckhart and getting into my 'presence' and admiring the vast clouds formation overhead, a joyful thought came and I grab the camera to take photos of the kids and the fun time we are having.

Zack at his hidey-spot, wondering what the heck is going on with the girls...., he came over to sus things out but when he found out there wasn't any food or bones involved...when back to his hidey-hole and left the gaggling girls to our own devices............typical male!!!!!!!!

Definitely a great bonding arvo session with the kids and relaxing as well. At least I am not like the 'normal people' who are out there madly doing their Xmas shopping and getting stressed out. I can't wait for the Xmas hols to do more relaxing and chilling out with the kids.

Silken Rhythms Hafla Rehearsal

Last Sunday I had my bellydancing rehearsal for the end of the year school Hafla (egyptian for PARTY!!!!!) Met up with the rest of the girls from the other classes and did our routines and had lot of giggles and did silly poses for our photos. Sufficed to say it was an enjoyable afternoon and Carol and myself from our beginneers class had a hoot of a time.
